take better care of my teeth

Had my braces put on just over a month ago. The treatment window is 14+ months and then after that gold crown comes out and teeth whitening to follow. It has taken me well over 2yrs to get to this stage but got there I did. I could have bought myself a car with the money but tbh I would much rather fab gnashers!

I have turned into the flossing queen. And i can see the results for myself. No more bleeding gums to be contended with in the mornings, not even when i have eaten a whole goat to myself :p

I floss religiously now after every meal.

I just don’t want to have skanky teeth lol

HAD to go to the dentist on Monday morning as I was in so much pain. Its a good thing I did as he put me on anti-biotics. Also took an x-ray and told me to come back next week. I shall most probably be getting my top wisdom tooth (top line) filed down. The lower jaw are almost out and have caused all the damage they are likely to.

Imagine something really sharp piercing a hole into your cheeks for years on end and putting up with it. I am a freak and have a weird concept of what equates as manageable pain :(

No wonder giving birth was a cinch!

I have a sore on my tongue. eew. I used to have great teeth and then I got pregnant and it has been downhill since then :(

Spending money on sorting out my molars no longer counts as a priority as there are more immediate matters that demand the money. Unless I come into shedloads of money in the coming months…

Deep down I guess I knew anyway.

The teeth gets it :) And I know where I want the work done. I popped into Blackheath Village Dental Practice last year when they were looking for models to front their online campaign. Alas my teeth did not make the grade. I was pretty shocked as on quick glance I have what many call a fab set of gnashers. I get it from my mother :)

They are not perfect though. As I was duly told (!) I have ONE crooked tooth and a gold window I had put in when I was 16, which was looked upon as a no-no by the Dentist. Made me feel slightly ghett-o :p

I am kool with removing it having enjoyed the experience of wearing it for so long. To be honest, its probably paid dividends in its own way but would be able to remove it without feeling a real loss or that I am losing something precious. Its not like I am a practicing Moslem or an Alhaja now is it!

Just need to book in to see the lovely team again. And get a price thrown at me. Gosh, I hope I don’t splutter when told or I might end up choking on my own teeth. Geddit hee hee
