get my medical issue RESOLVED

All the diagnostics found no leaks. We thought maybe low cortisol but turns out high aldosterone. So more blood work (5 vials drawn yesterday!) and I find out in 2 weeks where we go from here.

In the meantime I just “crash” out exhausted every afternoon and either nap or try not to nap. It sucks.

Mayo clinic has a 6-9 month wait. Bummer!

Did a bunch of tests last week at Houston Methodist (fabulous people!) but no results. Or rather, they didn’t find the leak.

So that’s good. Now they just have to find the stupid leak. Doc is consulting with a colleague who had a similar case solved at Mayo. So I got that goin for me.

The docs have to figure out the headaches, which they’ve narrowed down to a probable CSF leak. MRIs, Cat Scans, two lumbar punctures. We’re trying to figure it out. As Tom Petty once said, the waiting is the hardest part.
