run away with the gypsies

I was eleven years old and had just traveled half way around the world to visit my grandparents in their tiny village in the meditaranian. The gypsies used to come past to sell us all sorts of unusual items. They were so absorbing and hypnotic; I used to watch them in complete ore. I regret not trying to find out about their lives, id love to visit the village again and runaway with the gypsies, even if its for just one day.
