visit Seattle

i never ended up visiting seattle after i moved to spokane.
but i recently started a new job that doesn’t require me to drive a long distance, so with the fuel money i will be saving,
i will put it towards my seattle trip in the fall. :D

i will probably either visit this weekend or next.
i need time to research what i want to see and get my car tuned up.

well my trip has been even further postponed.
my company was bought-out and i will have to start my vacation time over again when i re-hire with a new company.
so it looks like it’ll be over a year before i can go on vacation again.
so i will just put this goal off for the time being.

it looks as though our trip to seattle has been postponed until october.
that kind of bums me out.
but also gives me more time to prepare and finance the trip more effectively.
it should still be fun regardless.

a dear friend of mine has family in seattle and has visited countless times.
she really want to move there.
she plans on going back on vacation in august and asked me to accompany her.
we will have free room and board with her brother’s family.
and she will pay for the rental car.
all i need to pay for is my ticket, food, etc.
she plans on booking her ticket fairly soon, so i need to also.
i have wanted to do something like this forever!!!!
i have not flown on a plane since i was an infant.
and i have not been that far on the west coast since i was a very small child as well.
infact, everytime i get vacation time from work, i stay in the city.
i want excitment!
