Learn a different language

Bought a learn japanese cd-rom. Why Japanese? well I thought it would be cool!!! So far, I am learning the basic grammar and sentence structure of the language. I’m really enjoying it. I doubt that there are any japanese classes available anywhere near me, but I will look.

You would have thought, being born half Indian and half Filipino, I would at least be bilingual, if not trilingual!!! But I totally blame my parents for being lazy and sticking to English as the main home language in our house!
I really wish I could speak another language. I VERY basic french and I do know some sign language. but i would love to be fluent in another language.
the languages right now that are appealing to me are japanese, italian or french. I suppose if i were to start learning i should choose either french or get one my parents to teach me their home language…. erm…French it is then!!!(mum has no patience with me when it come to teaching me how to do anything lol! and dad is just hopeless!)
