well, i did a half on saturday. with really no training to speak of. i should have just run a 10k, but i just felt like hey, what the hell, so..i did. and it hurt. id never experienced anything like it, my legs were just done, there was nothing left in them. but, as painful as the whole thing was, i am intrigued, and now plan on you know, actually training for a race. theres a marathon in san antonio in november. maybe that one.

san antonio marathon is in november, plenty of time to train. ive been trying to get a regular running schedule, but its difficult. i guess it always will be, just have to make time. but i have been running more often than i have in a long time. at least a couple times a week. trying to up that to at least 4. i feel comfortable running 5 and 10k distances, and next weekend im running a 15k. we’ll see how that goes.
i ran a 10k this last weekend, although i intended to run the half, but i just didnt train right. now im determined. this is going to be my year.
