its a cool idea, and id love to do it, but i seem to prefer sheds. aboveground lairs. not as menacing, but just as effective. plus you can have a window!

i used to play in the backyard with my cars, and my brother and I would make little tracks for them, and dig holes in the mud. i imagined how awesome it would be to just keep digging and digging, and travel all over the city in glass tubes, and have a lair right in my backyard. but after digging awhile, it got real hard, and my hands got tired from moving clay. and it just became another one of my childhood fantasies, like stopping time. but, my, well, i dont know how im related to him, everyone just called him uncle bob, he dug his own basement when he was in his 80’s all by himself. i always thought that was cool.
