go on adventures

Today I went on a little adventure with my friend Lish. We went on a walk on this trail in my town which ends up at a school/campground where there are a bunch of little playgrounds. So we played on the swings and the slide and had a great time. I got butterflies in my stomach everytime I went up on the swing, its sort of scary! There was a field with one of those things that football players practice with, where they run into them and try to push them across the field. We tried but we were only able to move it a total of like a foot in several tries. All in all it was a very fun walk and adventure!

I’ve had the last few days off and have been on a couple of adventures during my little break. On Sunday I went with a friend to watch her husbands soccer game which was fun. I hadn’t seen a soccer game in like 7 years so it was cool to watch. It made me want to play soccer so bad, even though Im horrible at it. On Sunday me and three friends climbed Mt. Monadnock, which was quite an adventure. We messed up somewhere along the trail and ended adding an hour or more to our hike up the mountain. It was a really pretty trail though so it wasnt too bad. And then on Tuesday me and some friends went to Boston to a Red Sox game. It was my first game ever so it was alot of fun. We hung out in Boston most of the day which was also a good time and then hended to Fenway. Even though the Sox lost it was still really cool to go, I want to go to another one so bad now!

Me and my sister and mom went camping together earlier this week, which was quite an adventure. My dad and boyfriend had their doubts but we were able to set up the tent and start fires on our own, in the pitch dark no less! I hadnt been camping in years so it was really fun to go, hopefully I can go again this summer.

I stayed at my boyfriends parents for a week in Florida which I guess was an adventure because I had never been there before, but really I was very lazy the whole time there and it was great. My biggest adventure there would be swimming in the Gulf of Mexico for the first time, even though it kinds sucked. But there were lots of little seashells so that was nice :) and two of the ones I found had the tiniest little crabs inside of them, very cute.

Went to Key West which was an adventure in itself, but some of the most memorable adventures on the trip were…snorkeling in the coral reef, which was really fun and also a little scary. We sailed out for an hour before we reached the reef and then snorkeled for another hour. The water was very choppy and the visibibilty wasnt that great but it was still really cool. I saw a bunch of fish including some baracudas. My friend Kate saw a shark swim right underneath her! On the way back there was wine and beer for everyone but my and my friends were all really sea sick so we didnt partake. It was really cool and hopefully I get to do it again some time. Another crazy adventure was going to my first strip club, all nudity of course! It was exremely awkward for the first 5 minutes but then I got used to seeing the girls girly parts and focused more on seeing the girls skills, many of them were laszy strippers and didnt do any pole dancing or anything, just sorta walked around the stage. But yeah it was funnny and educational sort of…

Climbed Mount Monadnock today with my boyfriend, and it was a fun adventure. The leaves are turning here in the 603 so it was really beautiful, plus the sky was bright blue and clear. It was a lovely and quite sweaty adventure.

Today I went canoeing, which I hadnt done in years, in a sorta sketchy canoe that I thought was going to tip over every time a big boat went by and made waves. It was fun though.

Went to Maui this past week. I didnt really go on any big adventures there, mainly just chilling out, but still it was an adventure!

This isnt really going on an adventure, but trying something new at least… went for sushi today and had green tea icecream and ginger icecream for the first time, both were delicious!

Today I went on a mini-adventure. Theres this little art gallery in my town that I’ve walked by a million times but never went in, so today I finally went in. It was nice, it was all older paintings, some were really interesting. Im glad I went to check it out.
