Visa issues

Something important I forgot about when I did my outlookshift list, is that I want to find a dream job where visa is not a matter.

I say this because I was just starting my cover letter for one of them and the first questions was:

Do you have the legal right to work in the UK?

I am truly sick of this situation, this week I have to go to the immigration office in this country to make more paperwork and see if the accept me back after going on holiday to my country. I have to do that because despite the amount of taxes they charge me there is not enough workforce to process my still student visa renewal after 6 months of submitting it and 10 of expiration on the previous permit.

Yes sir, I am in an immigration Limbo at the moment.

Oh well, still this is about my dreamjob so once the visa issue is out here I must say that from now on I will focus on developing this skills, I know they are there somehow, is just that masters and management have kept them dormant and now I must awake them and I somehow I feel that I started to set up the road for them to come back.

  3. Interest in typography
  4. Experience of working in a technically orientated environment
  5. User Experience and Design (UX&D) team
  6. Data visualisation skills.
  7. Able to turn complex data into an engaging yet simple story.

Outlook shift

I am overwriting my thing with this new name as while looking at the opportunities that are opening in front of me I feel that I need to understand better what I’d like to get from the new path I am looking for.

Things I have clear:
  1. I’d like to get out from the corporate world
  2. I’d like to be back to design
  3. I’d like to do something related to datavisualization
  4. I’d like to leave management to someone who does it better and enjoys it
  5. I’d like to be part of change
  6. I’d like to keep on growing with things I’ve already learned: research, innovation, etc.
  7. I’d like to work with people I admire
