communicate more effectively

For some reason, every conversation I have with store clerks turns into an Abbott & Costello routine. I ask for specifics, I get questions.

Or when I try to talk to my family…. I want to be like my aunt who can turn a personal failing into something enviable.

I know I try to cram too much into a sentence. I know I speak too fast and too soft. I don’t want to waste anyone’s time. I don’t want to waste my time.
