Tamil protesters were outside the parliament for days now. Some had to be taken to the hospital after 4 days of no food, but the government is unmoved. The protest had to end eventually, Jack Layton stepped out and commented on the situation but nothing was heard from other politicians. I wonder what is the worth of a peaceful protest?
Are the politicians undergo some kind of workshop prior to stepping in the government? Like how to be tough skinned, ignore the pleas of the public, how to best dodge the most hard breaking news? I bet they do lol. Or even better, at the interview they must already possess the skills… And they have to provide examples of their heartless acts; what happened prior the situation, how they handled it and the results.
