wear sunscreen

Do you know IPL? It’s a very painful laser-zapping on the skin which undoes a bit of damage done by sun. Expensive, too. So, gives me added incentive to keep wearing sunscreen

got heaps of sun the past few weeks. Must start being more diligent again!

I already feel greasy and sweaty. Putting lotion on my face just makes me feel gross.

But, definitely wearing sunscreen more often than I was this time last year. I hope to keep growing more diligent as the months pass. The health of my skin is worth the effort!

I wore sunscreen every single day. Yay!

and it was expensive and uncomfortable. I want to take better care of my skin so I don’t need lots more of these treatments in the years to come.

and it’s easier to wear sunscreen there. It’s not humid, so I don’t feel like a greasy, sweaty mess. I wore sunscreen every day for a week – face AND body. Hooray.

Hard to wear sunscreen when I feel sweaty, greasy, and sticky already. With cream, I just feel like an oil slick. It’s gross! Easier to burn and freckle, sadly.

haven’t worn sunscreen once since I added this to my goal list. NOT ONCE. But, i want to leave it on my list because it’s important to my health and appearance. I won’t give up on this.

As a very pale, freckled dirty blonde, I have lots of skin damage from years of not using enough sun block. I have been sunburned at least 20 times and am always told by dermatologists that I am a prime candidate for skin cancer. Besides that, what used to be cute freckles don’t look so cute any more and the lines around my mouth and eyes are starting to deepen. so… although I cannot reverse many years of harm, I can take better care of my skin in the future.

Here’s to wearing sun block, all day, every day.
