...I just need to pop into the airport and have a chat with the instructors about a trial flight. I shall try and be mindful of this goal next time I am driving that way.
...I’m going to go with this – there local, I like the look of them and they provide a nice honest breakdown of costs!
To get my full Private Pilot’s Licence would cost me in total around £6500. Not sure I really feel the need to do this but if I had the money I’d jump at it in a shot!
For an ‘Introduction to Flying’ course we’re talking around £700. More of a possibility but not right now.
What I probably could manage sometime soon is a trial flying lesson for £55! I definitely think I’ll try this out to see if I want to spend £700 or not!
I feel confident that I will make this happen, it’s just a matter of when. The strange this is I can imagine exactly what it will look and feel like to fly. Perhaps this is more a memory of going up in a plane with my Grandad when I was small…I’m not sure…but I like how it feels.
...I have been doing a bit of research on my local airport. It may not be affordable for a while to take lessons but I am going to do it eventually!
If our financial situation clears up soon (and it should – fingers crossed’) then I’m going to book something at the local airport!!!
