Need to get out of the city to do this properly

Ideally this would be some place far from the city where I can see the whole sky filled with stars as I look up. I can do this in my backyard but I am not sure if it will be what I am looking for… it would be a start though, wouldn’t it? :) Maybe when the weather is a little more conducive. :)
