take more road trips

Beautiful sunny day! Headed out to nowhere in particular, just turning when the feeling struck. Ended up driving alongside a river on a country road. Stopped, sat on the rocks and dipped my feet in the icy water. Relaxing, refreshing, ahhhhhhhhhh, wonderful!

One of my favourite things to do is hop in the car or truck(depending on the roads to be taken) and spend the day . Take the camera, some munchies, maybe the dog and without a doubt a good friend to share the day with.
This pic is my good friend Paula on top of what we affectionately call “Stonehenge”. We had taken a trip to Halifax and on our way back we took the back roads. We stumbled on this by….”Hey, what’s down this dirt road?” “Maybe we should look.” We really have the best of times just being spontaneous. There it was in on open field in the middle of nowhere.
