make a short film

I suppose I’ve already done this! Last year I worked with a friend to make an online promo for an upcoming event, and we published it online. It was seen by lots of people and continues to be seen.

But, I am going to push forward and try to make another promo. I think it would be fun to keep doing little short films like this. We have the talent, the drive, the reason. All we need now is the time.

we shot a commercial last weekend. very cool! it gave me some experience for shooting and being in front of the camera. not exactly where i’d hoped to be the first time out, but very, very cool nonetheless. all of the research i’ve done came in very handy. can’t wait to do it again soon!

ok, so i had a different idea last night. still keeping the first one for a short in my bank to take out later, but this idea is so rockin’. i can’t wait to get started!

i had some things lined up, but the last two months got crazy busy so i had to put it off. i still have the idea, the actress and hopefully an editor. we’ll see!

i’ve got the actress, and possibly a video editor. i need to put together a production schedule, make sure everything is lined up for it and get going. i have to meet a dec. 31st deadline, so it will be tough if i want to enter the short in a local contest. i’m aiming for it though!
