take voice lessons

well, i now have a few lessons under my belt and will pick back up after the holidays on the 8th—yay!

yay! i met with the talent agent/voice coach and he’s willing to barter. i’m shooting his son tomorrow and we start lessons on sunday. very exciting!

meeting with a voice teacher tonight! seems he has had a need for a photographer so this might just work out. that would be very cool!

i’ve contacted a local voice teacher and have proposed a bartering system to bring him more clients in exchange for voice lessons! his hourly rate was hugely expensive for a fresh-out-of-college person such as myself. we’ll see if he bites and if he’s worth the time!

anyone know of other local voice teachers that are worth bartering for services and would be open to that?

i’d really like to try this. i’ve been taking acting classes so that i know what actors go through, which will help down the line…but i really like to sing and think it’d be fun to know how to do it like the pros. anyone know of voice teachers who can work on trade? haha, yeah right. i’m sure they don’t exist.
