be in a play

auditions have been positive. i got called back for one of the two that i tried. the second one was a bit harder, since it was shakespeare and i was totally unprepared for it. the audition was a closed one, which was different for me. all in all, it’s been a great experience. one of these days, i’ll have a month free that i can use to commit to a play. until then, i’ll just keep auditioning!

i decided not to go to the callbacks for the first audition, as i wanted to wait to be in the next upcoming production. wish me best of luck on the next round of auditions, yeah.

i got called back from my last audition, yay! it went very well, and i got a lot of good feedback from the judges/director/my old acting coach. so that’s good and is a boost of confidence. however, i can’t be a part of this play so i’m going to audition for the next two that are coming up: filthy rich, twelfth night. might even take some comedy/improv/sketch comedy acting classes, but i have to come up with $300 first, booooo.

i’ve just completed acting lessons and have taken a look at two upcoming productions at the local theatre. auditions are coming soon, so i’m thinking about doing both of those. wish me luck!
