I’ve never really been there except driving through. The saguaros and dryness and mountains in the backdrop call to me though. I think of an earthy orange-red when I think of Arizona, and warmth, and lazy ceiling fans twirling in a white room with gauzy curtains stirring. Could be synesthesia, that first part, and misconceptions, the rest. I just think I’d like it.
