graduate from college

Looks like next semester I will be at ETSU. I only have about four semesters left and can get them done quicker and cheaper there.

I got turned down for my Sallie Mae loan. I have one last loan to try. I had to resign at work on Friday because they won’t let me work on the only days I have available. angry face And I have to get a TB shot or I get kicked out of school… I hate shots, but I would also hate to be kicked out, so.

and still no word from my Sallie Mae loan. I’m pretty sure this stuff has to be in by September 1st. And what the crap, Northeast State? They didn’t send ANY of my health records here. None. I will be calling my high school tomorrow to see if they still have them.

I sent in my housing application and deposit last week. I’ll definitely be taking out loans, but it’s so worth it. I can’t wait to find out who I’m rooming with!

I’m going to have to get a Perkins and a Stafford Subsidized loan. That’s gonna be a lot of money by the time I’m done. Plus I am sucking really bad right now in music, so I’m afraid there goes my music scholarship.

Well, I got a letter today from the scholarship people offering me $5000 per year for academic merit. I say “Oh heck yeah!”

So now I’m looking at owing around $8500 a year, and that’s before any other scholarships from FAFSA and music.

Something I’ve wanted to do ever since I knew what college really was, besides being a big school where the kids lived away from mom and dad and drove everywhere and were really cool. :)
