In the period 1996 to 1999 we were a few friends working on an operating system named cryos. My friend wrote a microkernel. I wrote graphics drivers for cirrus logic 54xx, tseng et4000, trident and s3 cards. We failed because we lacked a master plan.
Even though I’m now a happy mac owner, the dream continues.
