We’ve gone through a lot together since we first started dating. We’ve been talking about getting engaged. He says, when he’s more financially stable. So we wait.
He knows I’d never want a diamond. But I did give him my dad’s phone number, to call when he’s ready. ‘Cause I’m old-fashioned like that.
We’re 23 and 24, and we’ve dated for about 14 months. If we get engaged in the next six months or so, and then get married at the end of 2009, is that too soon/impulsive? Just in general? We might put it off another year.
