This last month of daily prayers has pushed me up to almost 100 entries in my prayer journal. It really encourages me to see how the Gods are present in my everyday life.
I’ve started working on expanding my prayer website with helpful information for others who worship the Gods, presented in a rather unconventional way. I find that I really enjoy working on this and growing closer to the Gods. This goal has been a huge benefit to me.

I think I’m going to call this goal complete when I’ve made a journal entry every day for a month. They say it takes 21 days to form a habit, right?
So far, I’ve journaled every day since March 30.
The prayer journal really does a lot to keep me focused on growing in my relationship with the Gods. I feel like I know them so much better after only a few weeks.

I finally got my Wordpress journal set up. The setup itself was easy enough, but it took me about an hour to figure out how to alphabetize the category list.
Making a prayer journal the front (and only) page of my website is a big jump for me. It’s amazing how hard it is to stop talking.

I was keeping my prayer journal on Livejournal, but I’ve decided to move it over to my personal website as a standalone blog. I thought I would just use my web host’s prepackaged blog software, but I’ve discovered that it’s impossible to tweak the style of the blog other than by selecting from one of only a few templates. I can’t even upload my own picture!
So right now I’m keeping the prayers going, but I’m trying to figure out which software is best for the functionality I want so that I can puzzle out how to install it myself. It’s an adventure!

I set up my internet bookmarks so that it would be easier for me to remember to update my prayer journal every day. I’ve done four out of the last five days.

I’ve been keeping my journal for about a year now, off and on (mostly off), and I pray to a specific God each day. I tag my entries so I can find all the prayers to a specific God, and I’ve noticed that today’s prayer was the first one I’d written to Apollo. Just thought that was notable.

Part of simplifying my life is simplifying my worship. I usually throw myself into a whirlwind of religious activities, and it’s easy to lose sight of what’s important. Instead of doing all of those things, my goal is to just write out one simple prayer every day.
