and now we’re down to 0.3% of goal saved. :-{ But hey, that’s what an emergency fund is for, right? At least it was there!

My Man and I sat down and reviewed our budget. Things will be tight for a while what with buying a house and all, but we are currently 13.5% completed on this goal! Yay us!

this is really a good idea, people! Somebody join me! (If one of the founders of 43things started this goal…..)
Well, My Man and I are really not making progress on this right this minute, but we have plans in place beginning Jan 1 (NY resolution, anyone?). We changed our health insurance to a cheaper plan with a deductible, and we are banking the difference in our savings account. Since we are also buying a house, we may need to tap into it, but if we don’t, we will have $1K for emergencies by May 1.
