have a better memory

I’ve added this goal because I hate getting caught in those situations, you know the ones where you are in mid sentence and you cannot remember the name of a person you met or the place you went, or how long ago it was. I end up feeling stupid or cannot even get to the point of my story… I really want to improve in this area.
How I would go about improving this, would be to possibly write down all of the things I think I will tell people in the future. For example: So I watched Jay Leno tonight, Andy Sandburg and kris… something or other was on. there we go, already I’ve forgotten Kris’ last name who won American Idol, so now I can find it on the internet and write it down.
I think this goal will help my confidence and story telling abilities and people will probably take me more seriously.
