To sum it all up!

The year 2011 was a year of transformation for me. I had broken up with my boyfriend at the end of last year, then started dating another boy and fell inlove with him, I started online courses to work towards a better higher paying job for myself, I ran a 5k, I went on a road trip as a couple with another couple (first grown up trip), and then broke up with my boyfriend because it wasn’t working out. This year was lots of ups and downs, but I learned that I am strong and I have what it takes to get what I want. I know I have learned what it is that I want and I will continue in this direction to grow into the woman I want to be! :) happy new year everyone its been a good 2011 and hope 2012 is even better :)



UPDATE

1. lose 5 lbs to be 145
I have lost more weight, mainly because I have no appetite right now due to relationship issues.
2. add to the black book everyday

4. clean my room fully
need to still clean it, i got rid of some things and brought them to value village.
5. get answers about the placement and get everything finalized
I went to a meeting this past week, everything is a go, now i just need to get the paperwork they need and set a date to meet for orientation :)

already pulled, this one is a no go…:(
7. Read! but no pressure to get to 25 books. I barely read this year sadly…

8. Think positive
I will have fun being single, I will be happier and live an authentic life. I will find love again, and it will be great!

I have been spending more money lately, need to put more aside.
10. plan something fun to do for new years
thinking of going into the city now with friends :)

December 4th 2011- UPDATE

1. lose 5 lbs to be 145
I have been going to the gym more lately and watching what I am eating. I know this is a tricky time of the year to lose weight but i’ll try anyways.
2. add to the black book everyday
okay, maybe everyday is a little much. I’ll try every other.
3. be good to K
we’ve been connecting better lately. I think now that we talked a bit it will get easier.
4. clean my room fully
still a bit messy, must clean it fully today!
5. get answers about the placement and get everything finalized
This one is almost complete, I just need to send the documents and contact the placement coordinators.

already pulled, this one is a no go…:(

I went to look at cars yesterday and it got me thinking about saving more money!

DECEMBER!

It is the last month of the year 2011. I feel like I have transformed into a more confident, assured, & happy woman. I started the year with a break up and feeling down but i’ve really turned it all around.

Goals for this month (the last shot for this year really..)

1. lose 5 lbs to be 145
2. add to the black book everyday
3. be good to K
4. clean my room fully
5. get answers about the placement and get everything finalized
6. pull freee this month
7. Read! but no pressure to get to 25 books. I barely read this year sadly…

NOVEMBER <3

Ahh… the fresh feeling of a new month. This month’s goals are:

1. lose 10 lbs (get down to at least 140 lbs)
2. finish L’s scarf
3. knit a hat and mittens for myself
4. begin knitting christmas pillow cover
5. get placement finalized
6. red highlights
7. clean room and keep it clean



October Update on this year's resolutions

1. Weigh 125 lbs at some point this year:
Im 150 lbs now, I would like to get down to at least 140 or 135 by the end of the year. I doubt 125 will happen at this point but I don’t really need to be that weight anyways.

2. Explore my creativity:
I have been adding to my black creative book throughout the year. I really wanted to be more creative this year and I think I’ve done it :)

3. Date and explore:
I am still with Kris, things are going great ! and there’s even talk about moving in together already so I am happy.

4. Get organized!
I am working on it, but it is a forever ongoing project. It is hard for me to get organized. I think I just need to set time aside and go crazy one day.

5. start seeking answers about school:
I am taking an online course, so I got my answer!

6. stop my hair pulling habit:
Still once and awhile but its dwindling. I am going to make an effort to end it once and for all.

7. Read 25 books:
I’ve read quite a few, but nowhere near my yearly goal. I need to read wayyy more than I am.. I’ve been more consumed with knitting lately.



October goals:

It’s October! what a lovely month. My birthday is on the 10th, I am planning a trip with my boyfriend and another couple to Niagra Falls and halloween is coming. It is going to be great!

Goals:
1. finish reading Knit Two
2. Finish knitting kris’ scarf
3. update blog every day or every other day
4. pick a Halloween costume5. find a placement for school
6. get organized
7. get hair cut
8. be ontop of reading for school



September :)

I am so excited for the start of Autumn. With September brings transformation in itself because I will be starting a course online to work towards becoming a resource Teacher to work with children with disabilities and delays. I love helping people and work well with children in setting goals to help them grow.

This month:
- be organized
- work hard in my new course classes
- get down to 140 lbs
- make birthday plans
- be pf 20 days
- start knitting scarves and hats to donate to charity



August goals

1. Weigh 125 lbs at some point this year:
i weigh 145 lbs right now, it is fluctuating in the 140s. I want to weigh 125 so bad but it’s proving difficult to lose the weight.

2. Explore my creativity:
find a mixed media book to guide me
knit more
make a vision board

3. Date and explore:
still dating my lovely boyfriend, I am so inlove

5. start seeking answers about school:
I am enrolled in the resource teaching certificate program :):)

6. stop my hair pulling habit:
this month I want to be completely pullfree. No more pulling is my goal! headbands, no greasy hair, stress balls here I come!

7. Read 25 books:
I want to read 2 or 3 books this month :)

8. get toned
exercise regularly



July Update!

1. Weigh 125 lbs at some point this year:
weigh 143 :) slowly but surely i will get closer.. although my new goal is 130 so just 13 lbs left.
July: will continue going to the gym and never eat junk!

2. Explore my creativity:
not being too creative in my own time, only for work with the kids, I want to try more at home.
July: paint by number, add to quotes book.

3. Date and explore:
I am in a relationship now so the “date and explore” thing is not quite fitting. I did date one guy before him and then my now boyfriend so thats dating.
July: explore new things we can do together :)

4. Get organized!
I was cleaning my room today a bit, putting clothes away, trying to get it under control. I have a real problem with keeping my space organized. I’d like to transform into a neat-organized- person.
July: Fully clean my room, then tidy a bit each day to maintain cleanliness. I should go clean right now!

5. start seeking answers about school:
I’m done the prerequisite course now, now i’ll apply for the special needs course for the fall :)
July: APPLY :)

6. stop my hair pulling habit:
I’ll start tomorrow! :S
July: record each day my progress on 43 things.

7. Read 25 books:
Just finished “One Day” by David Nicholls which will be a movie soon. It was cute :)
July: Read 2 books
