gather up the cheers and knit them into a little more gumption

...from sitting here giving and receiving cheers and reading and writing comments.

I think I’ll gather up some gumption and go do something else for awhile. Maybe I’ll plant some flowers. :)

...it’s been so far today, and I’m happy to notice that Lynn just gave me my 4000th cheer this morning. 4000 cheers! Wow, that’s a lot of cheers! Thank-you, everyone! :)

And, just now I was happy to wish Ru~, who originally gave me this goal, a Belated Happy Birthday. She and her goals and entries are so full of gumption and are an such inspiration to me. Thank-you, Ru!

So now, let me turn off my computer and use some of that gumption to get a few things done today on this beautiful afternoon that’s just beginning, and not let it go to waste.

Wow, 3000 cheers received! Thank-you, all givers of cheers! I’m hoping to use them to create a little more gumption. Gumption is a very good thing. I’ve got some knitting to do.

These 49 people have sent me cheers and comments over the past week or so. Some are regular correspondents, and some I don’t know too much about. It is kind of exhausting trying to keep up with it all. But it’s also fun and interesting. Thank you to all my correspondents.

I was noticing last night that I’ve now received over 1000 cheers. And scanning through them this morning, there are such a variety of people. Some have gone on to cheer others, or stop cheering altogether, and some I continue to receive cheers from faithfully. It’s so awesome to think about how the goals that I’ve listed and the entries and comments that I write here can be read by people all around the world. I am grateful for everyone’s cheers.

Now, time to do some knitting.
