New water spots on the ceiling in this office, underneath the furnace in the attic, even with the new drain pan installed. And it had rained the night before I first noticed them. I didn’t see anything obvious when I went upstairs to the attic to have a look around.
Arrrgh. Now what?

The furnace repair guy discovered that the reason why water was leaking from my attic was because the A/C drain pan had been nailed to the floor. He said that is equivalent to attaching your boat to the boat trailer by driving nails through the bottom of the boat.
He said he’d never seen anything so stupid in his 30 years in the furnace repair business, and he’s seen a lot of stupid things. In fact, he said it several times.
At least I wasn’t the one that nailed the pan to the floor.
I’m also thankful that it’s cloudy and not too hot today. He has to come back tomorrow with another part to fix the A/C unit.

My A/C stopped working yesterday. Ugh. Have to make a call tomorrow & get someone here to take a look.
It may be more difficult to use my computer very much until I get this problem repaired.
