I will commit myself to one cause for a period of at least one month. Beginning today. I will pick a cause today and commit myself for a period of one month. That means once a week for a few hours I will work for this cause. After I write this entry I will shop around for a cause.
some potential causes:
homeless soup kitchen work
political causes
help elect obama or hillary
volunteer at hospital
volunteer with elderly
help save the environment
donate more, even just a little bit
enter the medical field as a career goal
I will consider this goal “completed” if I can meet the demands laid out in the first paragraph.
