So yesterday, I got of work, dropped Abby off at Brittany’s and Keith and I got in the car with no predetermined desination. He doesn’t travel that much, but was game, and wanted to have everything plan, had all these ideas. I said, just quit, lets just drive so we went East….ended of downtown Chicago….I’ve never been to Navy Peir….so we went there and well it was fun, but I now know why I have never been to Navy Pier….It windy in the winter and well there isn’t much to do. We went to Bubba Gumps, and well I did that 15 years ago in San Francisco and it hasn’t improved that much…. We then went to Ikea….I love Ikea, then we went to the container store. Great but expensive. Then last night at 10 pm, we thought to see if there was a Bears game today. I had my laptop, we checked….yes in luck….there was a Bears game. We went to Craig’s list and found some great tickets, we texted the guy, 1 minute later he called back and would you believe he was at the hotel next door at Woodfield Mall. Keith went and go thte tickets and chewed him down to $75 less than the list price. Always good to get tickets at the last minute…. We went to Target this morning and geared up. it was snowing we needed warmer clothes. Drove to the game, found a great parking place. Unbelievably the tickets were awesome. near the 40 yard$ line in the Club section. With heat and a cover over the seats built in tv’s with instant replay and padded seats. With a great view we were close. Woudl have been even more perfecct if they would have won. But it was against the undefeated Titans.
It was a good day…until Keith and I got in a fight on the way home….We made up and now I am home, showered everything put away from IKEA….watching more football….
Road Trip….kicked butt…..
