go camping

It was the first camping trip of the season, and it may well be the last. It hasn’t been a priority and even this trip only happened because a friend wanted to do it for her birthday.

It was very lovely. I forgot how much I love toasting marshmallows.

That was our family vacation each year. As an adult I’ve gone camping less often, making it down to Big Sur and once to Big Basin. I’d like to go back to Mt. Shasta and camp at the lake or up at Castle Lake.

My boyfriend and I were also thinking about going to Angels Camp or Westpoint with our friends.

I still have a lot of the gear necessary…it’s mostly finding the time and the money.
