Nice Old Italian Lady

My brother bought a duplex two years back, and ever since he moved he noticed that the kitchen floor never needed cleaning, like someone was sweeping the floors regularly. Some days, the kitchen would have the smell of pasta and tomato sauce. The strangest part is when my bro, who doesn’t usually stay up late, is in the den watching TV around 10 o’clock, he hears the sound of thumping like someone up is tapping their shoe on the floor. To which my bro takes his cue to hit the sack. Around 6-7 in the morning, the same taps wake him up. So for the past two years, he did not need his Roomba and his alarm clock. When he asked the broker about the place, the broker said that an old Italian lady used to live there around the 50s.
