My brother and sister swim like fish. My mother loved to float on her back. My father and I swim like rocks. Hop in and we sink to the bottom. I’ve always been afraid of the water. Once a psychic told me I’d been a Japanese naval officer in a former life and that I’d gone down with my ship. Apparently I’m still sinking. I took lessons when I was a kid and again recently, but I can’t get over the fear. I’m ready to give it another shot.
