Oddly enough, my current stupid crush (see “get over my crush” if you want the whole story) has me writing in my journal a lot. Yeah, it’s mostly silly angsty crap that makes Twilight look like high literature, but still. It’s writing again. And it feels really awesome. Hopefully I keep it up. :)

So I used to write in my journal a lot, mostly about stupid middle school stuff. Then as I got older, I attempted to write fantasy stories. LOL. Looking back, they were horrible. Then I started writing a lot of poetry. Some of it was pretty good. Then I sort-of went to random freewrites with poems and lyrics on occasion.

Then the craziness of senior year (and now college) got to me and I’m not writing as much as I used to. I find this really sad. I’ve been getting better again but I’m making this a goal because maybe then I’ll stick to it. :D
