my contract ends in 2 days

when i finished with my last job, i decided that i will give myself some time off; off thinking about finding a new job. before i even knew it, one was knocking on my door (we are basically talking getting paid for 2 jobs simultaneously, that fast.)
it was a short 3 months contract for a company i used to work with a couple of years ago. it wasn’t a good experience this time around, i must sadly admit. i like the people and all, but i truly detest the job. so from being a rising manager with lots to show for, i became a disgrantled employee who just wants to go home already!
i am so totally out of motivation, and i fear that i will not do anything to promote getting employed again.
i have lots of experience, and usually all i need to do is email “i’m available” and something soon comes knocking. but this time, i don’t feel like doing even that. i just want to rest. and get my mind off all the adult stuff. “responsibility”, “income”, “career”, “success”... i want the kiddy stuff, “fun”, “sun”, and sometimes “run”.
i fear this feeling. last time i sat on my butt for 6 months and did nothing. i can’t let it happen again. i should just jump right back and try again.
