Grad school 12 months ago

So…I have more than enough money to get through grad school, but I would really like to save enough so that when I get out of grad school I can buy a car and put a down payment on a small condo or townhouse. This is probably realistic if I get my spending under control. I spend more than I bring in which I expect, but it is too much right now.
