This winter I sat on my ass and felt sorry for myself. 3 weeks ago I started training for a 5K. I plan to run one at the end of April. I am slowly building up distance and speed and I really think i am getting some where. Not to mention working out other issues by hitting the pavement instead of obsessing. I feel better physically and mentally already.
I am following the couch to 5K plan that many people seem to do. I did day 1 of week 3 today and have to say I was surprised at how easy it was. I was anticipating the worst. We will see how everything progresses!
