finish my bloody screenplay some day

Work in progress…
My co-writer and I have decided to completely re-write, from the beginning to the end. And, more accurately, to completely re-think all our story, all the plot, all the characters, all the sub-text, all the meaning.
A huge work, yep, it is. But necessary.
So, we go at our own specific rythm. A slow one, as you guessed. But a sure one.
Go us !

Since it’s the 30th of november, and since I didn’t even re-read it for plenty of months, it seems I can’t achieve this goal before next december.

Anyway, my co-writer is in Mali, Africa (where the story is set) until the 10th of december. When she come back, she will have Sacred Fire. I know it. And Beloved Producer too.

So this goal has to be split in sub-goals, wich are :

• reading the stuff TODAY
• and preferably writing magnificent scenes before the 10th of december.

Go, me, go !

... but for the next session, in december.
Well, so far, so good. Not because of me, but because of the god’s blessing that my co-writer is. She’s on fire !! She’s totally rewriting the screeplay from the start, and she does actually a really good job. And all I have to do for now is listening to the sort of new story and expressing some try-to-be-relevant criticisms from time to time.

I have to say i really don’t have the time for writing these days. Yesterday, just as I finally came back home at 10 am, after 19 hours (!!) of exhausting and stressful work , I’ve been hired by Beloved Producer for taking care of the extra-actors-stuff [1] in the movie he’s producing, now in preparation (shooting will start the 26th of september). (Quite) well paid and declared job for about one month ! I’m in heaven, exhausted, but extatic.

I think this version, the 3rd one, could really be the good one. A. did a very good work. Still one hour of film to re-write…
