I am so very glad that I was invited to do this challenge. It just consolidated a lot of things that I have been trying to improve in my life for the last 3 or 4 years. I will KEEP up a lot of these goals, and every day be very conscious of what I am saying or doing. The end result of all this I hope will be, to be a much better person not only for myself, but to everyone around me…............ Cheers to everyone on this team :)

with my challenges. I managed to do all of them and was very proud of myself for actually taking the time to stop still and achieve this. I combined these all with a wonderful remedial massage midweek. So have come out of this week revitalised and refreshed…... bring on WEEK 4!!!!!!
I do love the exercise challenge, purely because I try never to miss a day of it. Each day I do 30 minutes of pilates followed by a 30 minute walk. On the days that I am not working, I also try to fit in a lot of gardening or flit around the house like a domestic goddess (hey it all helps!!!!).
I could nearly combine this one with yesterday’s food challenge. As I said, over the last 3-4 years I have become very conscious of what I am eating, not only for the health benefits ( a huuggeee plus), but also when I wanted to lose a lot of weight. I have found it enormously satisfying to sit down to a beautiful meal and enjoy every mouthful, AND know what I am eating. I must admit I was one of those people who used to stare into the pantry or fridge – not find anything there that wasn’t there five minutes ago, and then mindlessly eat anything. I think it is the Japanese who have a saying along the lines of “eat only until you are 80% full”. Definitely something to think about. So challenge accomplished….. yay!!
was just TOO easy. For breakfast had a scrambled egg on smoked salmon with wholemeal toast. Healthy lunch and tonight I made a beautiful vegetable casserole for dinner. For snacks out came the dried dates and walnuts. This is something that comes very easily to me, as I have been very health conscious and aware of what I am eating for the past 3-4 years. The health benefits have been enormous…........
was the BEST. I sat outside on the back deck with a cup of peppermint tea in a beautiful mug and watched my little fairy wrens happily flitting around catching their quota of worms for the day – just bliss…...........
with all my challenges this week. Have worked through them and am very happy with my progress. I must admit my “sanctuary” has become my haven. Looking forward to the coming week.
