It took a while to find this one but it was worth the search. I completely enjoyed this movie.

Ben Hur- such a long movie. oh my. it was good though not my favorite 3hr long movie. i have lawrence of arabia at home now (another very long movie).

City Lights- this is the first charlie chaplin film i’ve seen and i loved it! definitely worth watching

Treasure of Sierra Madre- this is a great movie in my opinion.

favorite quote: Curtain “You know, the worst ain’t so bad when it finally happens. Not half as bad as you figure it’ll be before it’s happened.”

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid- i thought this was an excellent movie. it was very clever.
my favorite line: “I have vision, and the rest of the world wears bifocals.”

The Third Man: all in all it was ok. i especially liked the actor who played harry lime..man he was creepy.

my favorite line:
LIME: Like the fella says, in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love – they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.

Patton: i finally watched the whole thing!! i’ve had this movie for several months and have been slowly working my way through it. it’s an excellent movie it’s just very long.

close encounters of the third kind: i love this movie. it’s so weird!!

the wild bunch: oh god it took me forever to get through this movie. stop play rewind get coffee rewind play…grr. plus i was on vacation so i’m getting back into it:) anyhow this is an interesting little western. pretty dark too. check it out
