It’s so great to move, you just need to get started. Stretching and light exercising makes me feel energetic and good about myself. I managed to do that almost every day for some time. Lost the habit while relocating, but picked up bicycling instead and discovered that it’s great fun. Today I bicycled to the cheap supermarket (15-20 minutes), got tons of fruit and vegetables, and the way back was mostly uphill… I lost one of my three shopping bags twice and was all sweaty when I arrived home, but I’m very proud of myself =)

Can’t seem to do that very special diet right now, but I’m trying to cut down on grains at least. In any case, taking up my food diary again showed me that I’ve had way too little of a couple of important nutrients. So now I got pumpkin and sunflower seeds, flaxseed oil and a Vitamin D supplement, and I’m monitoring my nutrient intake and energy level on fitday.com.
I think I was most energetic while on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet last summer. Simple sugars seem to make me tired and mess up my digestion. Starch is boring and useless anyway. I’ll try and stick to that diet again.
