I’ve been training for about a month now, and needless to say, I’ve made some progress. Possibly slow progress, but progress nonetheless. When I began, I could barely run a mile. Now, I’m running four and a half miles a few times a week at a pace that is much faster than my pace from when I started. It was a pain at first, but when I finally decided to slow down my training pace a little, I ran my first three-miler and have been addicted to running ever since. And despite my decision to slow down my training runs, I’ve still managed to build up some speed, so now I’m running faster and farther than I was then.
