Have an awesomely different life by this time next year

One of our goals is to get a new house. That’s not going to happen within the deadline, but we have taken the first steps. I painted the borders in two rooms, and we picked out new wall colors for two other rooms.

My sister and her boyfriend helped us do some landscaping yesterday to make the outside more presentable.

I bought a new camera a couple weeks ago… a Sony Alpha 350. One of my long-term goals is to become a better photographer, and I think this will definitely help.

Got my stock broker’s license the other day, and a nice raise to go with it! That takes care of the professional side of the awesomely different life for now.

Next step, buy a new computer. And a NEW, new computer so I won’t have to return it this time. That’ll happen in the next few weeks.

After that, buy a good camera. The one I have now isn’t quite enough for the photography that I want to do. That should happen in April or May.

I also need to check into Photoshop classes at the local community college. I have Photoshop, but I don’t know how to use it yet. When I have the new computer, I’ll have enough disk space and horsepower to do some messing around.

I passed my Series 63 exam today. Next step – get licensed!

I’m also planning to buy a new computer later today. Well, a used computer, but new to me!

I start studying for my broker’s license on November 19.
