Quantity over quality?

Perhaps I will achieve this in November, if I do NaNoWriMo. Though to be honest, I don’t expect I’ll achieve 50,000 words the first year I participate. At least if I do it for this I’ll have the ‘quantity over quality’ excuse when I let people read it.
