find a nice little thing somewhere on the street

Found a silver coin in the street some days ago: 1 Mark. Now it lies here on my desk beside the keyboard of my pc and awakens memories about times when we payed with “good old Mark” instead of Euros. People say, the times had been better with Mark – I can’t see any “better” – nothing is “unhappier” today. But one thing seems to be a fact: I could buy more things for my money some years ago!

Found this today:

Thought I would have seen something red – and really: Under earth and old leaves from the last year I found this toadstool. Yesterday I found the 1 cent coin, ein Glückspfennig. Both are symbols for luck, so …

Some days ago I hiked through the forests and fields in my home area. About 8 km away from home and near to the next village I got the urgent wish to drink some coffee or latte macchiato in a café in that village. But I had no money with me. All my pockets: empty. But a moment later the wind drove a grey piece of paper over the winter barley field: It was a 5 Euro note – enough money for 2 latte macchiato.

Ok, money isn’t “something nice” – but in special situations it is!

In the middle of the forest far away from the next village I found a bicycle bump. It is like new and very strong – better than mine. I don’t understand why things are lying around far away from “civilisation”.

Found a nice little silver spoon today.
I wished I would know how a little spoon comes onto a deserted street far out in the fields! (?)

It was a little flag of Germany lying in the street. I guess a football fan lost it from his car.

But I’d like to find some more every now and then.
A few days ago I found four nice little tas from glass with so nice little coloured things inside like small wings: three small ones (1 cm diameter) and one big one of about 4 cm diameter. One of them has the colour of the blue summer sky.
