create my own website

I’ve found satisfaction in 43things, blogger and myspace. Cheesy? Probably.

The website I was cooking up with help of a friend is never going to happen. I can see that. So I’m going to let it drift off happily and focus on all the other fun things I can do.

The guy who keeps saying he’s going to help me do this keeps putting it off for other projects – projects that he often doesn’t complete. I love the guy, don’t get me wrong, he’s super, but I can’t handle waiting around for him to do nothing – especially when I am prepared to hand over good money for his time.

I’ve had my website registered for almost five years. It is time to post something, damn it!

My father (www.johnnywow.com) gave me a box full of miscl medical equipment – things with leavers and cat-gut handles, sharp ends for prodding and gas canisters. PROPS!! Ensuing photos anticipated to be 20% more sinister…

Tom (www.randomsketchy.com) tested out a new digital camera on me – so I’ve got a hundred more nurse photos. I really need to get this website up. I have pestered Joe (www.rounddown.com www.tntwebcrafters.com) and he’s agreed to put something together – soon. It came up in discussion with Miss. Mick that there should be an action element. In particular she thought a cartoon strip would be fitting. Nurse Fusion v. the bad guys. Nurse Fusion in combat, wrestling, dominating, etc.

Any ideas of how to pull this off? I can fiddle-faddle draw but I’m no comics artist.

My photographer is having to move this month – change of home owners. He was all fired up to take more photos but this move means it will be a few months before he’s settled…assuming he ever finds a place as perfect as the one he’d been living in for six years.

So here’s a teaser for the photoshoot’s results. This one is super funny to me. One of the first photos of the night – Typical goofy face I get when I see a camera. It was hard to keep that goofy look off my face the entire shoot.

Photo shoot tonight. I went and bought a bunch of crappy make-up and fake nails. Remind me to take my curling iron and some bobby pins so it looks like we had several sessions instead of one whirlwind night of bright lights and corny backdrops.

After discussing job dissatisfaction with Scrpbkshannon / ‘Shannon,who can’t get organized to save her life’ I realized that I need to get a website up with writing. I’ve been registered forever wwww.nursefusion.com I just need to get a site up. I have talked to a site builder friend and he’s agreed to help set it up, design it and what not. He is a bit slow to action though. So this goal is to push him and myself to make this happen!
