I’ve had a goal to learn to use an abacus pretty much my whole life.
OK, STEP ONE: I may not own a real abacus yet; but I have an Abacus on my new G1 T-Mobile Phone with Google.
Here’s a very short video that shows how it works:

Yippee! I can learn to use an abacus now!
Now for instructions . . .

I was sleeping with the tv on when a special came on about the history of the abacus and how to use it. I was incorporating the show into my dreams, and experienced the abacus in a personal way. It was a great reminder that I have ALWAYS wanted to own an abacus and learn how to use it. Wow! I had totally forgotten about this desire. I’m thankful to find others with this goal on 43Things.com to remind me to pursue this interest.
Here is some useful information that we’ll want to keep at hand.
