Go to Massage Therapy school.

So I’m done with actual school, hooray! Therefore I’ve decided to remove this and count it as complete :D

However, I still have to finish internship and take the national exam, oy vey! Those are sort of separate goals though and I’m just glad I’m done with school. On to studying for the big time exam!

I only have two more weeks of school left, and then I have about a months worth of internship. Wow…graduation on December 6th, wow…

Arg, can’t forget about the National Exam though so I probably wont be licensed until February. But I’m still almost done school :)

Well, I just finished my last massage from my first internship and am moving on to semester two of school (and afterwards will have another 25 hour internship). I’m actually a little more than half way done, but this second semester will be much more challenging I can already tell.
So far things are going super well though!

I’ve been to three classes already, so that means I decided on the Winter Intensive course. It’s 500 hours, 2 days a week for 8 hours, and we are already into hands on stuff, it’s great. I still need to buy my own lotions, and a table, then turn the extra room in our house into a homework/massage room, ha. It’s really awesome though, and I’ve made new friends too.

I will be registering soon, and I’m so freaking excited! I’ve been waiting for this for so long. I just can’t decide if I want to do the Winter Intensive program and work my butt off and get finished early, or if I want to take my time a little bit more, start in March and finish a year later. Oy vey…

I’ll be going here in about a year when I move back home. I’m so excited, I went for an orientation a while ago, and loved it, I can’t wait!

I know exactly what school I want to attend, and I was going to, but now I am moving to Winnipeg. I know that once my husband and I move back to Austin I will be going to massage therapy school. Even though by that time I will have already graduated college, I still want to expand my education, and it’s just something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. And the only school I want to go to is Lauterstein-Conway.
