Despite feeling like I’m eating poorly, I’ve managed to keep 2 lbs off… here’s yesterday:

B: wheat toast w/cream cheese & strawberry jam/ coffee
S: cinnamon graham crackers/ iced tea
L: fish & chips/ orange soda
D: ramen w/broccoli, mushrooms & carrots/ water
S: one ginger snap cookie/ milk

Some minor indulgences today:

B: DH surprised me by making me a toasted whole wheat bagel egg-wich while I was in the shower, so how could I say no?/coffee
Water
L: I was on the run at lunchtime, so DH packed me a very portable PB&J on fiber bread/water
S: small bran muffin (2p.m.), granola bar (4:30p.m)/water
D: 1.5 frankfurters, green peas, baked shoestring potatoes/beer
S: blueberry yogurt/water

Goal today: 2L water, eat less fat & sugar; curb snacking!

B: lowfat yogurt, granola bar (mixed in!)/coffee
L: turkey, cheese, tomato on fiber bread/water
S: banana, granola bar/water
Extras: (went to a P.M. reception, snacked on crackers, fruit & cheese)
D: (late dinner) small serv of shepherd’s pie/beer
Milk

(didn’t quite get there with the water consumption today, but better luck tomorrow!)

I’m feeling motivated to keep up with the 2L water consumption today, as several docs I’ve seen over the last week (okay, four) have told me that I’m not drinking enough and it is hitting home now. AND!! This morning I was 2 LBS lighter on the scale! I’m very excited about this because I’ve plateaued for about six months. Let’s keep this going.

B: carrot nut muffin/coffee & water
S: banana/water
L: red beans, rice/water
S: grapes, granola bar/water
D: shepherd’s pie (3”sq serv), broccoli/water
S: TLC Chewy bar (140 cals)/milk

L: turkey & cheese on fiber bread/water
S: peach lowfat yogurt/more water
D: red beans, ham & rice, steamed broccoli/beer
more water

I drank 2 liters of water today!!! (That’s a new goal for me)

B: egg sandwich (homemade by DH and shared with DS)/coffee [6am]
S: oatmeal/water [9:30am]
L: beef shortrib etoufee w. rice (fat removed)/diet coke [1:45pm]
S: tortilla chips/water [3:45pm]
D: tomato, fresh mozzarella, basil salad w. poached chicken breast/beer [7pm]

D: jambalaya in a multi-grain wrap/beer

B: 2 slices banana-walnut-wheat bread (homemade by DD and me!)/coffee
L: Cincinnati chili mac/water
S: non-fat peach yogurt, pretzels/water
D: (leftover night) green salad w/ffd, 1 bbq beef short rib, small serving hominy stew, glazed carrots/beer
S: granola bar/water

L: Subway 6” coldcut sandwich on wheat/Coke zero
S: small lowfat peach yogurt/green tea
D: green salad w/poached chicken breast and fat-free dressing (DH prepared this for me, even though he made himself some chili-cheese-fries! :-P)/beer
S: banana-walnut-wheat bread (homemade and enjoyed by DD and me!)/water

B: high-fiber bagel w/a light frost of cream cheese/coffee
S: special-K blueberry bar/water
L: small slice of homemade pizza/diet coke
S: 2 clementines, light popcorn (WANTED POTATO CHIPS!!!)/water
D: green salad with chicken breast & fat-free dressing/beer
S: small yogurt (shared with my son, because he had to have some) and 1/2 granola bar/water
