remodel my kitchen

are installed, the walls are plastered over. Things are looking quite different and nice! By the end of tomorrow the work should be completed!

Work started this morning on my kitchen! By the time I left for work, it was a scene of destruction. Both cabinets had been ripped out and my cat is traumatized! Maybe by the time I get back tonight, my new cabinets will be installed!

So my guy came to my house this morning to start with the minor structural work needed before things get started in the kitchen. A little nervewracking! Sometimes ignorance is bliss when it comes to renovations work!

My cabinets will arrive Mar 28. Today I ordered my new floor. My fridge is in stock. Hopefully all the work will happen the week of March 28 and I won’t be without a fridge and a sink for too long!

I ordered my new kitchen cabinets today! That was a big step for me. But I’m pleased because they went on sale this week and I was able to spread the payments out over a year.
I won’t see them for 6 – 8 weeks though!

I have another contractor coming on Thurs morning to look at my kitchen.

this morning met with a potential contractor. he was 25 mins late but seemed okay. will meet with at least two more contractors before I make a decision.

I bought a kitchen faucet yesterday, on sale for $65 (65% off) and managed to buy the very last one they had!
So I guess I need a sink to go with…

I emailed two separate contractors last night to ask for quotes on my kitchen. I want to get my kitchen done in 2007!
